Applications for Summer 2010 internships -- Deadline to apply is Nov. 15.
The St. Petersburg Times' internship program introduces college students to careers in media through valuable hands-on experience. Students who are hired as interns also are eligible to apply for the St. Petersburg Times Fund's Intern Scholarships. They are worth $3,500 for returning fulltime undergraduates and $1,500 for returning fulltime graduate students.
Who Should Apply?
College Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors interested in careers in media especially, news/information. Applicants should have experience at a college publication and at least one professional internship. You must have access to reliable transportation, as Florida does not have mass transit.
This is a paid internship: $450/week. Official start and end dates: May 24 and Aug. 13, 2010 (but we can be flexible, depending on your academic calendar.)
